Splendid antique icon designed 1300 and 1400, Italian manufacture. The painting is on a rectangular wooden panel. The painting depicts the Virgin Mary seated on a throne with Jesus Christ in her arms. The 12 apostles are depicted on the side within gilded circles. The Madonna is depicted wearing a purple-red mantle with a gift-blue hem. Jesus Christ is instead girded inside a blue tunic. The painting is decorated in a very precious gold colour. This painting is perfectly original and suitable for collectors.
