Art Nouveau Mirrored Glass Wall Light from Paris

Availability: 1 in stock

Wonderful mirror with applique from the Art Nouveau period, marvellous French manufacture, from a very chic Parisian restaurant.
The mirror has a rectangular shape with rounded corners, entirely made of brass in original patina. The top is surmounted by a hemispherical dome-shaped frame that lends majesty to the sconce.
The centrepiece of the mirror is clearly the central applique at the bottom. The base of the plant is connected via a solid brass element to the frame at the bottom; the base of the plant rises up to stand in three dimensions, as if it had come to life in the mirror. We see five stems with leaves, each displaying a flower with a light in the centre. Simply chic.
The mirror is suitable in luxurious corridors, but also in restaurants with a chic Parisian theme.

Height: 66 cm (25.98 in.)

Width: 33 cm (12.99 in.)

Depth: 22 cm (8.66 in.)

The mirror is in good and original vintage condition, slight scratches and light wear consistent with its time and use. Brass in original patina. Being a VINTAGE item it is possible that it will bear some scratches or defects.
