Beautiful bronze sculpture made by Anatole J. Guillot, french sculptor of the second half of the 19th century. The brightness of the bronze enhances the sinuosity of the forms giving a beautiful light-shadow effect traceable especially among the small carvings of the statue; the result is a sculpture that looks very realistic and expressive. All these measures are aimed at seeking a greater vitality of the statue trying to remove rigidity.
