Rare sculpture from the Brutalist period designed in the 1950s, of fine Italian manufacture.
The sculpture stands on a cubic base made of travertine, very elegant. Above this form is a brass label with the artist’s signature.
Centrally stands the statue of what would appear to be a mythological bird or chimera. It is made entirely of bronze, perfectly in patina.
In fact, one can clearly distinguish the arched and pointed beak typical of birds, one can also clearly see its wings, worked in such a way that the feathers are clearly visible. The tail is also made in the same way, so that the feathers are clearly visible.
There are two legs and at the end there are legs, which have a human-like appearance. Above the neck is a very elegant feathered crest.
The sculpture is very rare and elegant, suitable for environments steeped in history.
