Superb thermos designed and produced by Cartier in the early 1900s, hallmarked.
The thermos is made entirely of 925 sterling silver. The thermos is cylindrical in shape, the base is round with very beautiful leaf and squiggle decorated inserts. The central part is smooth silver with a mark representing Cartier.
On the upper part we find the same squiggles again; the rim is very thick suitable for keeping drinks hot or cold. It has two sleeves, one rectangular, the other is very sinuous decorated. It comes with a lid, also made of sterling silver, all entirely decorated with gentle and very sinuous squiggles. Above rises a small round excrescence apt to help open the cap.
The thermos is gorgeous and is a very scenic item for classy dinner parties!

The thermos is in good and original vintage condition, slight scratches and light wear consistent with its time and use. Silver in patina.
