Very rare Italian coffee table designed by Cesare Augusto Nava in 1970 of fine Italian manufacture.
The coffee table is a prototype of Cesare Augusto Nava’s small Design collection and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Nava’s training was forged by the great architect Gio Ponti, in fact, thanks to him his creations were defined and cared for in every detail. His research of spaces and geometric balances make each of his designs a small masterpiece of aesthetic elegance and modernity at the same time.
The coffee table in the Design collection is composed of 4 checkerboard squares that open thanks to a mechanism. The checkerboard has two dominant colours, white and dark blue. Once the coffee table by Cesare Augusto Nava is opened, we find a storage jar inside and most importantly, the table becomes luminous. The coffee table in a square has the trademark.
We attach certificate.
