Eccentric double bed dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, fine French manufacture.
The bed is a double bed, with a classic rectangular frame and four legs for support. The bed is made entirely of precious and durable gilded wood, making it very eccentric.
The two feet at the footboard are very elaborate, asymmetric cylindrical in shape, with very exuberant floral decorations and squiggles, as was French design after all.
At the top of these two feet is a kind of flower that must blossom very beautifully.
The wooden band between the two front feet is all worked in tubular stripes. Very beautiful.
The feet at the back are clearly more hidden and from here the very eccentric headboard starts: the headboard is semi-curved, very eccentric in fact it looks like a sun. Centrally at the bottom there is a semi-circular gilded wooden element representing a flower, around which there is a silver aura and then a larger, very elegant red one.
The frame around the headboard is gilded and woven, very elegant.
The bed is suitable for eccentric rooms.

The bed is in good and original vintage condition, slight scratches and light wear consistent with its time and use. Being a VINTAGE item it is possible that it will bear some scratches or defects.
