Extremely rare velvet armchair designed by the great designer Carlo Mollino in the 1950s, of fine Italian manufacture Apelli and Varesio.
The structure is characterized by particularly enveloping shapes thanks to the roundness of the lines. There are 4 conical feet made of dark, durable and very beautiful wood. The armchair is fully upholstered in dark green velvet, simply charming. The seat has an oval shape, with two side arms that are also round, very beautiful. The backrest boasts two very exuberant beautiful pointed ears on the top, creating a comfort worthy of this armchair.
There is no lack of attention to ergonomics: a cushion in the lower part of the backrest gives support to the back.
The rarity and beauty of this piece make it suitable for avid collectors. The armchair is published in the book I Mobili di Carlo Mollino.
