Lovely lacquered wood chairs designed by the great master Gio Ponti in the 1960s, very fine Italian manufacture Montina.
The chairs have a glossy white lacquered wood support structure, with some geometric shapes but asymmetrical to the norm, for example the 4 legs have a triangular shape, they are really beautiful and elegant.
In the middle of the 4 legs there is an X decoration, which makes them even more elegant.
The seat has been reupholstered in a beautiful and enveloping ultramarine blue velvet, which is impeccable and incomparable. The cushions have the classic square shape beveled and rounded in the middle.
The rarity of these chairs lies in the sculptural back they possess. In fact, the backrest is also made of white lacquered wood like the frame, but special woodworking has been done so they recreate a very sinuous snake.
The chairs are an incredible and rare piece of furniture, as unparalleled as the place where they are to be placed.
