Magnificent pair of stools by the great Architect Gio Ponti, 1950’s. The pair of stools has an ORIGINAL brown leather seat, in perfect condition. The stools have clean geometric shapes that create a striking strict defined line that vibrates upward. Ponti’s armrest shapes are known to always vibrate upward to create movement and depth. Notice at the end of the stool on either side two triangular shapes that can also act as handles to facilitate their movement. The pair being a true masterpiece in the world of mid-century design, it is ideal any type of living room or bedroom but one that is obviously upscale!
