Splendid wooden sculpture attributed to the great Gio Ponti in the 1920s, fine Italian manufacture.
The sculpture is made entirely of solid dark wood, very elegant and is in the form of a horse.
The four legs are joined two by two, the front one is very straight, surmounted by a very imposing chest, above which rises the very elegant head.
The mane seems to have been trimmed in a very elegant and well-groomed manner.
The hind legs are curved, following the shape of the thigh. Above rises the also very well-groomed thing. The thing is connected to the legs by an element also made of wood.
The sculpture is very graceful and beautiful, suitable for classy studios but also as a decorative element for a designer home.
