The nude snake charmer kneels on a carved patterned carpet, while she leans forward towards the snake, which has been lost in this statue, on a marble base. At the bottom of her there should be a snake and in her hands the enchantress was originally equipped with a bronze flute.
Guglielmo Pugi (1850-1915) was born in Fiesole, a small town near Florence. He was a highly regarded and skilled sculptor specializing in female figures and busts.

Conditions: 

The statue is in good and original vintage condition, slight scratches and light wear consistent with its time and use. Being a VINTAGE item it is possible that it will bear some scratches or defects.
