Elegant Italian chest of drawers by Giovanni Gariboldi from the 1950s. The chest of drawers was finely crafted in fine Italian workmanship. The cabinet bears the label of the exhibition at the Cantù permanent exhibition. The chest of drawers has marvellous inlays in the wood on the inside, denoting magnificent woodwork. The inlays present are depicted by doves and floral ornaments. The cabinet is made of beige lacquered wood. Its top has its original thick glass from the period and is still in excellent condition.
Completing this elegant chest of drawers are two pull-out drawers in the right-hand section. The drawers are beautifully crafted with embossed square ashlars. Its handles are also set inside the wooden cabinet made of triangular relief.
This elegant chest of drawers is ideal to complete a classic-style bedroom or can serve as a sideboard in an elegant living room with a Mid Century flavour.
