Beautiful pair of bedside tables in fine Italian-made wood dating from the 1950s.
The nightstands are made of a beautiful dark fine wood and have a very classic, typically mid-century shape and style.
There are four stiff flared legs for support, with a perfectly patinated brass finial. Above we see a thin sinuous frieze that seems to hold up the base of the body. The body of the nightstand has a small rectangular shape, with two front doors, which can be opened into a window by two brass handles original to the period. Above we see a compartment made from the space with the top glass shelf, connected to the base by a wooden panel that continues from the back side of the nightstand.
The sides are finely worked with sinuous curves of the wood. The wood shows beautiful, sinuous wood grains.
The nightstands are suitable for bedrooms with a very classical style.

Conditions:
The nightstands are in good and original vintage condition, slight scratches and light wear consistent with its time and use. Being a VINTAGE item it is possible that it will bear some scratches or defects. Brass in original patina.
