Pair of 1950s velvet armchairs Attr. to Pierluigi Colli, Model Claudia.The armchairs were upholstered in an elegant and sophisticated purple velvet. It is remarkable the bright green velvet edging inserted to define and strengthen the line.
The special feature of the velvet armchairs, in addition to the color, are the semi-circular armrests that wrap around the underlying structure. At the foot of the velvet armchairs is a wooden frame that doubles as a support.
The walnut frame is in good condition with light wear consistent with age and use.
