Splendid Mid-Century bed headboard conceived and designed by the great Luigi Scremin in the 1950s, fine Italian manufacture. Original label.
The headboard has an elongated shape that develops in width, made entirely of inlaid walnut wood.
There is a horizontal band at the ends of which are two identical mirrored bedside tables: they are created by a low rectangle with a window opening compartment and two small pull-out drawers, with very beautiful geometric and floral wooden knobs. One side rests on the side of the headboard, while on the other side we see an original brass tube of the period starting, which rests on a splendid glass pane framed by a thick, protective wooden frame.
These bedside tables are splendid and very elegant. On the inside of them are switches that allow the room to be prepared for lighting: in fact, it may be possible to control the lights in the room by means of these switches; there is also a socket on each side.
Centrally at the top stands a rectangular frame, the centrepiece of the headboard. It is made of wood but is fabulously decorated, thanks to the inlays of different coloured woods it creates a splendid play of shapes and lights. Flowers with leaves are represented, very elegant and delicate.
The headboard is suitable for rooms as beautiful as she is.
