Marzio Cecchi for Most, Wonderful set of two armchairs and ottomans model ‘Balestra’, designed by Marzio Cecchi for the fine manufactory Studio Most in 1968.
The modern armchairs and poufs are made of spring steel designed by Florentine architect Marzio Cecchi in 1968.
The seat features a playful design consisting of cylindrical shaped cushions, all arranged in a row. The structure is composed of only two lines, which start from the armrests, descend and flow into the legs, and rise up to the seat. The back of Marzio Cecchi’s armchairs is not directly supported in any way, so the chair can be sprung for added comfort.
The chair and pouf are upholstered in peach-colored velvet, original to the period.
