Fabulous set of four wooden chairs designed by Melchiorre Bega in the 1950s, fine Italian craftsmanship. The chairs have a very beautiful and durable light wood frame. The supporting structure is supported by 4 legs, the back two are slightly inclined while the front two are straight and rigid, with strut feet. Very elegant. Above this frame is the seat, made of soft green and gold striped fabric, original to the period, with the classic beveled square shape. The structure still rises thanks to two wooden rods that come closer and closer together, giving the diagonal effect. These rods are responsible for supporting the structure of the backrest, which is hemispherical in shape and upholstered with the same striped fabric. The chairs have a spatial elegance, only for high-design living rooms.
