Osvaldo Borsani Mid-Century Walnut Briar Stool

1,500.00

Out of stock

Beautiful and rare walnut briar stool designed by Osvaldo Borsani in the 1930s, of fine Italian manufacture.
The stool is entirely made of briar walnut, with the wood grain visible and simply elegant. There are two legs that cover the entire depth of the wooden stool. The final part of the legs shows a square recess in the wood, made thanks to the fine craftsmanship of woodworking. There is a wooden band that connects the two legs.
The two legs close at the top with a very light curl, which creates movement and gives elegance to the product. Between these two curls is the seat, smooth and very minimal.
The stool is in original period condition. The grains of the briar are visible.
The stool is suitable for rustic areas, but also as an important piece of the room, given its origin.
