Beautiful, unusual sideboard in walnut-root, dating from the 1930s, attributed to the great designer Osvaldo Borsani.
The sideboard is entirely made of very beautiful walnut-root, which boasts very scenic and striking grain. This contributes to making the product even more beautiful than it already is.
The base has a fairly geometric, rectangular shape. The baser is raised; on the right side we see a closed drawer, which can be opened by a round brass window knob. Above this drawer is a very nice compartment that opens like a book, via a cylindrical wooden handle.
On the left side, on the other hand, there are two shelves that create three small compartments, useful and arranged for the display of books or small, important and worthy objects.
Above we see a long, polished top with beautiful grain.
On the back we see a rectangular wooden panel going up, with a very elegant central basin. In this panel are shelves integrated into the structure. also suitable for display.
This sideboard is truly fabulous, suitable for any mid-century setting.
