Large and very elegant and well-made pair of Chinese armchairs from the late 1800s. The pair of armchairs is in curved wood. The backrest is curved and is paneled with friezes depicting figures of flora and ornaments. The very bulky armrests have imperfections i.e. the lacquer has come off slightly. The seats are square in shape with inserted floral elements with gold lacquered elements. The chairs have a columnar with frieze shaped and joined by stretchers, all lacquered with landscapes of figures to various occupations, dragons with flaming pearls and precious objects, clouds and flora and fauna. The chairs are perfect for fully enhancing a living room or a corner entrance.
