Rare and beautiful 1950’s grocery store pasta pantry vintage furniture with drawers.
This rare vintage furniture is truly unique. It was made with fine, sturdy wood and glass.
This type of vintage furniture was mostly used by old grocery stores to distribute bread and pasta. It has many drawers at the bottom, so modulated, on the sides a row of five drawers on each side, getting wider, while in the middle three rows of five drawers each, all with a glass to see inside.
In the upper part there is a system that allowed the grocers to insert the dough from the top, through two large doors with frontal opening, in a quantity ready to be sold. As it can be seen from the photos, there are eleven distributor compartments, also with glass, under which there are eleven small drawers that can be opened through a small wooden handle. This specimen is a really rare piece of vintage furniture and for true connoisseurs and/or collectors.
