Fabulous pair of armchairs designed by René Gabriel in the 1950s.
The René Gabriel armchairs have a supporting structure made of fine wood and is supported by 4 feet with a square shape that slightly exceeds the seat and the backrest. Also part of the structure are the 2 armrests, also made of wood with a very eccentric geometric shape. The rear part of the backrest has a tubular wooden structure, very elegant.
The front part of the seat and back of the René Gabriel armchairs are lined in an elegant purple velvet. Whereas, the side part of the seat and back are lined in acid green velvet. The fabric has been totally reupholstered.
The armchairs by René Gabriel are great for furnishing living rooms or quirky areas of the house.
