Beautiful sculptural bench made and attributed to the architect Gio Ponti in the 30’s, of fine Italian manufacture in Art Deco style.
The bench is totally made of wood with fine and elegant inlays and workmanship. The elegance is given by the ebonized and sculptural wood inlays. The bench can be opened through an upward compartment and becomes a container, very useful. The feet are highly worked and are the strong point along with the wood grain.
Gio Ponti’s bench is ideal for classic and refined environments, or to complete living rooms and entrance areas.
