Elegant Italian sideboard attributed to Gio Ponti from the 1950s. The Sideboard attr. to Gio Ponti is made of noble veneer wood and features four pull-out drawers. The drawers are easy to pull out by means of its handles, which are beautifully set inside the cabinet, also made of wood, and can be closed by means of its key with a brass lock. The handles feature very clean geometric patterns in keeping with the typical Italian 1950s style. Another the Sideboard attr. to Gio Ponti important detail is its grisled edges. Note the shape of the entire chest of drawers in the sideboard attr. to Gio Ponti, in fact it presents an atypical shape with geometric lines almost recalling an arrowhead. The shelf is made of antique pink mirrored glass original to the period. Its feet are truly unique, made of brass and turned into a truly unique geometric shape. They present, in fact, a typical 1950s triangular shape with a hole in the inside. The sideboard attr. to Gio Ponti can also serve as a sideboard given its size and beauty.
