Extraordinary pair of American velvet armchairs attributed to Gilbert Rohde from the 1950s. The pair of velvet armchairs are made of elegant red damask velvet. The armrests are made of black lacquered wood in a semi-curved shape. The feet are also worked with the same technique, but have anthropomorphic shapes.
The peculiarity of the velvet armchairs is their back: the final part of each one creates a refined curl that winds outward. The pair of armchairs is ideal for classic, elegant and refined living rooms.
