Rare brass cross designed by Arnaldo Pomodoro and his brother Giò Pomodoro in the 1950s, of fine Italian manufacture. It is part of the V/58/18 model. The cross is made entirely of brass, of superhuman beauty. The cross has a fairly classical structure, with the two bands meeting to form a cross. Centrally there is a brass square, decorated exactly like the rest of the cross. The square is carved in such a way that it appears to come out. The corners are quite hard. At the top we find an element, also made of brass, for storing the cross on the wall. The workmanship is entirely in very marked and beautiful squiggles. On the square at each corner is a carved circle. The cross is ideal as wall decoration, for true collectors.
