Fabulous wooden column bookcase designed for important studies dating back to the 19th century, fine Italian manufacture. The bookcase is designed as a column, in fact it has a narrow and very high rectangular shape. The bookcase is made of a high-quality, shiny light wood, solid and durable, typically classical. At the base there are decorative polished wooden elements, typical of antique column bases. This element is also present in the form of a capital at the top. At the top of the capitals there is an element in the form of a wooden lintel, closing the column. Internally, four shelves can be distinguished, divided by means of wooden shelves. The interior is very spacious, suitable for storing books. These internal compartments are closed by means of a door with a rectangular-shaped frame made of the same wood as the structure, with an attached key; while the inside of the frame is lined with a net suitable for displaying encyclopaedias or heirlooms. The fact that there is a lock with a key allows objects of a certain value, both economic and above all sentimental, to be stored inside. The column is very classic and elegant and is suitable for important law offices, notaries, doctors and so on, in the pompous and elegant style that this element gives.
