Beautiful Italian sideboard produced by the fine manufacture Vivai del Sud in the 1970s.
The sideboard has a classic rectangular shape and is made entirely of cobalt blue bamboo, with a fabulous inlay of the bamboo: in fact, we see diagonal carving that is alternated, creating a playful and elegant geometric effect.
The base consists of two low tops, one wider than the other with very beautiful brass details at the corners, original to the period.
There are three main doors at the front, each boasting a very beautiful arrow-shaped brass handle. The doors have raised geometric decorations: you can clearly see a vertical rectangle with geometric lines running the entire length of the sideboard, creating continuity between one door and the other. The two leftmost doors open like a window and contain a large compartment for storing any object; while the door on the far right is a separate compartment that is also empty and large enough.
Above the top has been reinforced and embellished with a clear glass plate, which preserves the bamboo and allows more solidity of support for the simply wonderful top.
The sideboard is suitable for extravagant and colorful environments, just like it.
